ragingbear -- I had to stop working on the computer to switch to my new computer and now I am switching my internet provider.

libby_j -- We just upgraded toa new pc and have had truble getting the canner to work on XP
dannyd -- How old is the scanner?
ragingbear -- I think she is only on Sunday but I totally forgot about it yesterday.
dannyd -- She hasn't been there on Sunday in over a month
libby_j -- sorry about typos hands not working so well tonight. Its about 6 years old. Hubby has managed to get it to work strngely through paintshop pro
dannyd -- Sometimes older devices don't work on newer computers or newer versions of windows
dannyd -- It's how they get you to upgrade your various hardware
libby_j -- That seems to be the truoble so if all the functions dont work we will have to geta new scanner :o(
dannyd -- They get you one way or another
ragingbear -- Yeah it's a big pain to get all the updated peripheral drivers working but just go to your scanners website to get the right driver for your new operating system.
libby_j -- I use the scanner alot. Am behind n some work! I was ina right state trying to reconnect the wires
libby_j -- Hubby did that but HP says XP is tricky with the older scanners
libby_j -- One of the boys is still ona windows 98 pc so may have to hitch it to that for now.
ragingbear -- Then we need to get TWO new hosts danny.
