ok I got approval from the state of SC but no beds now in SC. The lady in Findley VA called me (from the Roanoke paper) they have beds but have to get thru the Va paperwork. It has all been submitted now. But no still no place yet.

My sister called the ombudsman for the Nursing Home and she said that they had nothing but complaints until about a year ago. And then a new administrator take over and since she has only had 1 complaint. They have 9 vent beds. She said it was way out in the boonies. In the middle of a cow pasture. I don't care bout that though. But it was encouraging about the new administrator.

she is about 100 mile west of here. She runs about 9 Assisted Living homes in the South. Travels all the time. 10 yrs. older than me. No, unfortunately she could not take me in. Don't really know why. But, life is what it is.

oh yes if I have problems. Defnitely. The ombudsman said that the place took on vent patients because they were going under and had to have someone to fill the beds.
